Taking up the case of Lebanese Monarchy, who is to choose what bloodline and kin are to head the monarchy? A Democratic vote? A raffle? And of what religious affiliation will the monarch be? I think you covered the economic prominence of monarchies and their flagrant contrast with democracy very well, but in terms of practicality, I don’t see the implementation of a monarchy in Lebanon anywhere near possible
I find this article very insightful and your arguments compelling, and I as well am a vocal critic…

I don’t think it’s even remotely feasible currently. I just tried to pinpoint what I believe to be the utmost enabler of the corruption from which we’re suffering.
Decentralization might be a temporary solution, it’s way more manageable that what we have now.
